چکیده

to the user's queries should be time and space efficient. In this paper, we consider the special requirements of indexing to determine the performance of different techniques in data stream processing environments. Stream indexing has main differences with approaches in traditional databases. Also, we compare data stream indexing models analytically that can provide a suitable method for stream indexing.

A method for on-line speaker indexing using generic reference models

On-line Speaker indexing is useful for multimedia applications such as meeting or teleconference archiving and browsing. It sequentially detects the points where a speaker identity changes in a multi-speaker audio stream, and classifies each speaker segment. The main problem of on-line processing is that we can use only current and previous information in the data stream for any decisioning. To...

Continuous Spatiotemporal Trajectory Joins

Given the plethora of GPS and location-based services, queries over trajectories have recently received much attention. In this paper we examine trajectory joins over streaming spatiotemporal data. Given a stream of spatiotemporal trajectories created by monitored moving objects, the outcome of a Continuous Spatiotemporal Trajectory Join (CSTJ) query is the set of objects in the stream, which h...
